Adult Sunday School Class Bible Study on Alcohol There
has been a significant shift in beliefs about Christians consuming
alcohol. At one time, the vast majority of believers believed
that alcohol was evil and that consuming it was a sin. Today, it
is widely accepted, promoted, and its consumption condoned and
encouraged.
The purpose of this study is to objectively understand what God states about alcohol in the Bible. Personal experiences and opinions are avoided because the Authoritative and Sufficient Word of God always takes precedent. Experiences can confirm Biblical truth. Experiences, however, are not a substitute for the Word of God. The files below contain a .pdf version of the Bible study booklet used in the Sunday School Class and the .mp3 recordings of each session. You are free to use the booklet for personal study.
