Welcome to the Riverside Drive Baptist Church of Auburn, Maine!

We are a local, independent, fundamental Baptist Church.  The church was established in 1957.  It is our purpose to teach and preach the infallible and sufficient Word of God which is able to meet all or needs and struggles in life.  We beleive that the Word of God is the absolute and final authority for man.  The Bible is God's message to mankind for the forgiveness of sins; and is, with respect to the child of God, "profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [in order] that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works [II Timothy 3:16-17]."

Our desire is to minister to each person God sovereignly brings to our church.  Fellowship among all God's people, both young and old, is import and encouraged.  Great emphasis is place on teaching in every aspect of the church from Sunday School to Sunday messages, Bible studies and Bible clubs.  Also, we beleive that the family is important to the church and society.  Therefore, it is our goal to equip and encourage families with the timeless truths of God's Word.  Our church neither undermines the family, nor takes the place of parents and their God-given responsibilities; rather, we seek to assist the family.
